. . . Deutschland Tourneen 2009 & 2010
englisch
Antonio de la Rosa was born in the Year of 1965 in Santa Cruz / Tenerife / Canary Islands; in the age of only four years he started to learn Flamenco Guitar, and in the age of fourteen he had his first big perfomance. In the age between 14 and 18 he went on tour in South America (Venezuela, Ecuador, Argentina etc.) and USA (Florida, California) with various Flamenco Groups, including the famous dancers, Paloma Marín and China - afterwards he did perform in small Clubs and Open Air Festivals in whole Europe. In the age of 25 „Antonio de la Rosa“ became a member of the famous band from Madrid „La Cumbre Flamenca“ and they went on tour for seven years. After this long tour he went back to the Canary Islands, to find back to his roots, - and here he did play as a solo artist. The new formation „Antonio de la Rosa & flamenco fusion“ was founded in the year 2006, and together with the producer Walter Herold from „orgy records“, they started working with different new fusion styles. Now the sounds of the virtuos played Flamenco Guitar of Antonio are mixed up in a grandiose manner with Jazz, Regaetton, Reggae, Hip-Hop, Pop, Rock, Classik and Chill Out. All this was only possible with the interaction of international top class musicians. The members of „Antonio de la Rosa & flamenco fusion“ Antonio de la Rosa • flamenco guitar/voc • Canary Islands Máté Szabó • bass • Hungary Yarel Hernandez • guitar • Cuba Papa Meissa • percussion • Senegal Mauricio Calquin • drums • Chile Zsolt Kovács • keyboard • Hungary Eva Aroca • voc / palmas • Spain Maria José Madrid • background singer / dancer • Spain Laura Heredia • background singer / dancer • Spain In the year of 2007 the first CD of „Antonio de la Rosa & flamenco fusion“ was released by orgy records, with the title „colorá colorá“. Afterwards orgy records did produce various video clips – a cinema movie production with „Antoni de la Rosa“ and the second CD are in production. „Antonio de la Rosa“ did play with a lot of famous Flamenco artists, like: Paco de Lucia, Jorge Pardo, Ketama, Lulo Reinhardt, Chino de Malaga, Manuela Vargas, Manuela Montoya, Jarrillo, Remedios Amaya . . . . In 2009 „Antonio de la Rosa & flamenco fusion“ went on tour in Germany. They did play in 13 towns, like Bamberg, Wiesbaden, Berlin and the FABRIK in Hamburg. In June 2010 was the next successful tour in Germany and Czekia. more infos: http://www.antonio-de-la-rosa.com http://www.myspace.com/antoniodelarosaflamencofusion Press releases: Antonio de la Rosa and his international Band of fabulous singers and musicians exiting the people with their fresh and progressive Sound with its original elements which has never been heard before. A fantastic Mix of Reaggeton, Chill-Out, Jazz, Rock and Pop gives the Spanish Flamenco suddenly a very new style. Flamenco from outer space ! Even old fashioned rocker or disco freaks can not run away from that rhythm and the show. They´ll listen stunning to that, what they hear and see! The new album and the video clip for “Colorá Colorá” shows impressive how colours and light fits together with dance and music. Maybe it will be a new beginning of traditional folkcloric music combined with modern arrangements. Brilliant !
