Captain Hollywood, Down Low, Just friends, 20 Fingers, u.a." Zusammen veröffentlichte man mehrere Songs. Code Q, „Danger.“ Aufnahmen als Solokünstler 1994 Love So Beautiful (Video) / Hart As Stone – Single 1995 A Kind Of Magic – Single 1996 Give Me Your Hand (Video) / I´m The General - Single 1997 Meet The Sun – Single 1997 Fearless - Single 1997 Promised Lies - Single Aufnahmen als Projekt: Nash Attack & General B. Power´s 1998 The Nightmare – Single 1999 Deep Inside - Single 2000 Heart Of Africa – Single Aufnahmen als Projekt: On The Way 1997 I Forgive You - Single 1998 Grazy Morning - Single 1998 Come And Know Me Girl – Single 1998 UNO - Single Aufnahmen als Projekt: Code Q 1997 Let The Groove Begin - Single 1998 Is Anybody Outhere – Single 1999 I Cry – Single 1998 Hallo, ich bin´s wieder – Single 1998 Jingle Bells - Single 1999 Pulse Project feat. Code Q - Single 2000 I Cry (RMX) - Single 2002 POG feat.

He was an music artist on the 90s Eurodance scene - his musical work was highlighted by headlines like: “The good person on the dance floor” - “General B. Power's – storming the international dance charts” - “He keeps what he promises” - “A Bamberger on the way to becoming the international dance floor king” accompanies his debut music video CD “Love So Beautiful” was shown on MTV Europe and he was on stage with other stars of the time! Who is actually behind the pseudonym “General B. Powers?” "Without music, life wouldn't really be worth living!" This motto forms the foundation of the artist and producer “General B. Powers”, who has worked in the music business since the early 90s. Due to the numerous publications, chart placements and inquiries as to whether and when he could be seen live again (which was denied), here is a musical summary of his work. Let's take a big step back: It all began in 1993 in Bamberg, when the "GENERAL B. POWER' S" project was launched. This was preceded by musical activities in the early 80s, when breakdance spilled across the pond and the artist, inspired by this new type of music and the associated acrobatics, caused a sensation as leader of the formations “The Worms & The Crazy Handlegs (1983-1987). cared. In the mid-80s he worked as a DJ in the then trendy clubs "Movie" (ERTL Center Hallstadt, 1985) and "PALM BEACH" (Sandstrasse Bamberg, 1986). After a subsequent "musical break" he met Dieter Staub in the course of his entrepreneurial activity in 1991, with whom he launched the project "EXMIX CORPORATION" in the same year. It quickly became apparent that it would be a very creative collaboration. In the following two years, several joint demo productions were created before the different musical ideas became noticeable. Due to this fact, it was with a heavy heart and mutual agreement that they decided to go their separate ways again. Although his passion was more for RnB & Funk, in 1993 the project "GENERAL B. POWER'S" was initiated in the wake of the "Euro-dance wave" that was omnipresent and increasingly emerging at the time. He immediately worked on his own songs and produced several demos with which he was presented to various record companies. In 1994 the time had finally come - the first record contract (label: Cri-Lex Records) was signed and the debut CD "Love So Beautiful" was released promptly. The music video of the same name, produced independently and with significant support from Gunter Heinlein (Tom Cat), was recorded in the then ruined Pottensteiner Felsenbad, which served as the perfect backdrop. Vocal support was provided by Gabi Troidl and the professional dance performances were provided by the dance formation “Power For Pace”. The video was also presented to MTV Europe and aired there. Inspired by this success, numerous press articles, interviews and live performances with different female dance casts followed before the decision was made to equip the music with professional choreography and to initiate a Germany-wide tour. At this point he was also awarded a gold record as the record company's most successful artist. After increasing disagreements with the management, they separated at the end of 1995 and the project was renamed "GENERAL B. POWER'S - THE NEW GENERATION." It was completed by PAM (Petra Müller) and SHEILA (Zehra Burek), who were responsible for the professional Choreography and dance performances. SILVIA AMADAS/SEBALD (former duet partner of Drafi Deutscher “König & Aphrodite”) was able to win vocals, giving the project a very special touch thanks to her characteristic voice. Booking was also reinforced by Michael Turbanisch. ("Slash") At the same time, we were working hard on new songs. At this time, Michael Roth-Bock also joined the team and from then on worked on all the songs for the music project so that “the VICTORY Deutschland TOUR 1996” could start. The flagship was the CD "Give Me Your Hand" (label: AMG), newly recorded in the Völker Studios in Bamberg, with the video of the same name, the realization of which was largely due to the creative influence of Saschko Frey. The tour covered numerous major cities nationwide and also included joint gigs with greats of the time such as Captain Hollywood, Down Low, Just friends, 20 Fingers, among others." There was also a presence at "Saturn-Hansa" in Cologne, where many , already established artists who gave Klinke a hand for their promotion. The tour was a complete success and there should be a continuation of the tour as soon as possible, as well as more song material! Accordingly, the “choreographic work” was moved to larger premises (from Stegaurach to Hallstadt) and they met with Christian Preissig (Schlot) in his studio in Erlangen, where at the end of 1996 they finished producing, among other things, the tracks “Fearless, We're Gonne Meet The Sun and Promised Lies”, which are available as demos. Everything was prepared and ready to go when something unexpected happened. The “Euro dance wave”, which had spread like wildfire at the end of the 80s and the beginning of the 90s, collapsed quite abruptly at the beginning of 1997! A new musical trend/sound was announced, which was created by artists such as DJ Quicksilver, Robert Miles, SASH!, among others. Suddenly Eurodance was no longer in demand! Due to this completely changed situation, the bookings and a continuation of the tour could unfortunately no longer be maintained. New performance concepts as well as the current sound were required and since the existing project could not be restructured accordingly, the decision was made to gradually shut it down and phase it out. In 1997 it was finished as an independent project. Nevertheless, the project was “not completely dead” and in the following year 1998, three new projects were created: "NASH ATTACK & GENERAL B. POWER'S", "ON THE WAY" and "CODE Q." “NASH ATTACK & GENERAL B. POWER’S” was created as a joint project between the teams around DJ Nash (NRW) & General B. Power's (Bavaria). The synergies of this collaboration were extremely innovative and in keeping with the new zeitgeist. During this time, the vocal trance hymns "The Wolf Is Back, Heart Of Africa, Deep Inside" were created! A planned tour and a continuation of the project in its entirety beyond the year 2000 could, for various reasons (except for a few gigs), unfortunately cannot be recorded. ON THE WAY” was created due to two facts: On the one hand, “the General's” roots were in black music and he saw this as an opportunity to give this passion a face and on the other hand, the track “I'm Lonely” by Nana was an which one wanted to orient themselves - produced exactly to the point, "as it had to be." Support was brought on board with F. Dyhi (Frank Omoregbee) and "Vicki" completed the project vocally and with Silvia Amadas/Sebald Of course, Michael Roth-Bock was on board again. The songs “I Forgive You, Crazy Morning, Girl, UNO” were created. Unfortunately, this “Euro-pop-rap trend” didn’t last long, so the project didn’t continue . "CODE Q" was the joint project of Stephan Blumenrath & Michael Roth-Bock. They released several songs together. The most well-known were probably "Hello, it's me again" (a swan song for Helmuth Kohl's change of chancellor in 1998, label: More Music "Kanzlerkapriolen") and the remix of the Christmas classic "Jingle Bells" in cooperation with the producer Harald Lebherz (Jambala Records ), which was used by RTL2 as a Christmas trailer. They also cooperated with the label “Jay Kay Records”, which pursued a slightly different style of music. However, this resulted in several “dance-pop CD releases” including the projects: POG feat. Sally, “Ola mi amor” & CARO-X feat. Code Q, “Danger.” Recordings as a solo artist 1994 Love So Beautiful (Video) / Hart As Stone – Single 1995 A Kind Of Magic – Single 1996 Give Me Your Hand (Video) / I'm The General - Single 1997 Meet The Sun – Single 1997 Fearless - single 1997 Promised Lies - Single Recordings as a project: Nash Attack & General B. Power's 1998 The Nightmare – Single 1999 Deep Inside - Single 2000 Heart Of Africa – Single Recordings as a project: On The Way 1997 I Forgive You - Single 1998 Grazy Morning - Single 1998 Come And Know Me Girl – Single 1998 UNO - Single Recordings as a project: Code Q 1997 Let The Groove Begin - Single 1998 Is Anybody Outthere – Single 1999 I Cry – Single 1998 Hello, it's me again - single 1998 Jingle Bells - Single 1999 Pulse Project feat. Code Q - Single 2000 I Cry (RMX) - Single 2002 POG feat. Sally, Ola Mi Amor - Single 2002 Caro X, Danger - Single (Some tracks can be found on YouTube and BackstagePro, among others - keyword: "General B. Powers") At this time, he also worked as an A&R manager and consultant in the music industry and was able to gain important experience in the music business and behind the scenes. From 2003 he worked as a freelance producer with/in various project constellations and collaborations. Thanks to the numerous experiences gained over the years and the technical understanding of music he has achieved, he increasingly became the contact person for the entire production process as well as for “the final touches – keyword: final mixdown/mastering.” This background also formed the basis for the following period, where several legendary productions were created. Under the pseudonym “Dynamic 4Z”, a remix of Michael Cretu's global hit “Maria Magdalena” was released by JayKay Records and performed by Two 4 Pop. There was also the complete production “Kiss Me Again” for the same artists. “In My Dreams” was another anthem by the “Dynamic 4Z” team, which was actively supported by “Plattenmann” and to which the guys from CCC (Commercial Club Crew) contributed additional remixes. Other pseudonyms were used in “various productions and excursions into other genres”. He also produced the complete CD “Rastlos” by “Die Neuhofer Dorf-Rock-Kapelle” and the second mixdown for rock band Deafcon-X (“Big Up” and “My Way”).” The many years of work were rewarded by numerous releases and several chart placements (BVD; DDJC; PSC; SHC; BMC; BC; HHC). In total, more than 50 songs/tracks/remixes were created, mostly in English.
