the red ride

it all started in 2003, when four friends met once a month to listen to the newest stoner/desert/fuzz rock records. and then it happened: " WE CAN DO THAT TOO!!" was the sentence that brought it all together. so we went to our rehearsal room ( jenne & olaf also played in different bands at that time ) and started to work on songs. it worked out so good that we played a few shows and got really good responses from the crowd. so it grew and we recorded our first ep in 2004, called "SUNSTORM EP". in 2005 we played more shows and recorded our first full length album " THE ASTRONAUTS FLIGHT". some gigs later we wanted to start working on new material for the next long player. at this state dennis olaf and i ( jenne) recognized that the song-material is great, but our former singer florian couldnt get that far with his voice. so we had to take the next step and splitted up with florian. at that point it was clear for us, that we wanna continue but with a better frontman...after some searchinwe hooked up with mike, playing also with jenne in another band. we thought ( and we still do) that he is the best choice for us ( personally & musically)!! so this is the short- BIO of THE RED RIDE...stay tuned for new eps and full length albums in 2006....and keep on fuzzin
