Grunge lebt. Aus Nürnberg. Laut. Roh. Echt.

Seit 2017 stehen Stonebourne für ihren ehrlichen, kompromisslosen Über-Grunge made in Germany – handgemacht, heavy und mit einer Haltung, die unter die Haut geht. 
Verwurzelt im rauen Sound der 90er, schlagen die vier Musiker aus Nürnberg die Brücke zwi-schen nostalgischer Melancholie und moderner Wucht. 
Mit dreckigen Gitarrenriffs, düsteren Harmonien und einer doppelten Gesangspower er-schaffen Sven Kartscher (Vocals, Guitars), Dierk von Tesmar (Vocals, Bass), Peter Loy (Guitars) und Heinz Salomon (Drums) eine Klangwelt irgendwo zwischen Seattle und Fran-ken – roh, intensiv und voller Seele. 
Ein bisschen Drop D, ein bisschen Teenage Angst, Weltschmerz und jede Menge hymnischer, energetischer Rock. Ihre Musik erinnert an Größen wie Alice In Chains, Soundgarden oder Stone Temple Pilots, bleibt dabei aber unverkennbar eigenständig.
Mit der selbstbetitelten EP Stonebourne (2018) und dem gefeierten Album Squirrels on a Pla-ne (2020) erspielte sich die Band auf ihren Touren eine stetig wachsende Fangemeinde – auch über die deutschen Grenzen hinweg. Nun folgt am 17. Oktober 2025 das dritte Werk:
„Play this Record Backwards“ – ein Album, das düsterer, reifer und tiefgründiger denn je daherkommt. Mit der gleichnamigen ausgedehnten Tour von Oktober 2025 bis März 2026 bringt Stonebourne ihren Grunge-Sound deutschlandweit und darüber hinaus auf die Bühnen
Und das bleibt nicht unbemerkt: Auch Radiostationen in den USA haben bereits Stonebour-ne-Tracks ins Programm genommen – ein seltener Ritterschlag für eine deutschstämmige Grunge-Band.
Stonebourne ist kein plattes Revival – Stonebourne ist moderner Grunge im Hier und Jetzt nach dem Motto: „We make Grunge great again!“

Rooted in the rough sound of the ’90s, the four musicians from Nuremberg bridge the gap between nostalgic melancholy and modern power.
With gritty guitar riffs, dark harmonies, and a double-vocal punch, Sven Kartscher (vocals, guitars), Dierk von Tesmar (vocals, bass), Peter Loy (guitars) and Heinz Salomon (drums) create a sonic world somewhere between Seattle and Franconia – raw, intense, and full of soul.
A bit of Drop D, a bit of teenage angst, weltschmerz, and plenty of anthemic, energetic rock. Their music recalls giants like Alice In Chains, Soundgarden, or Stone Temple Pilots, yet remains unmistakably their own.
With their self-titled EP Stonebourne (2018) and the acclaimed album Squirrels on a Plane (2020), the band built a steadily growing fanbase through their tours – reaching far beyond German borders. Now, on October 17, 2025, their third release follows:
