With "Leaving The Scene" the Funky-Rock-Band from Vienna finally presents their eagerly awaited first full length album.
As you probably know it always takes time to do a thing well. For a whole year Rooga were fiddling about with their debut record "Leaving The Scene" which is available in record stores and online in Austria, Germany and Switzerland on August 15th.
Altogether there are 11 songs on the album. 11 songs that inspire to take a break, step back and think about life and living. Music with attitude, rock without compromises. Check it out yourself.
Although ROOGA publish their debut album only now, there are already some highlights on the musical visiting card of the Viennese Combo: 2006 the four boys and their well-sounding front woman won the "Local Heroes" band contest - Austria largest band contest, 2007 ROOGA wins the International Live Award“ as the best out of 1000 bands all over Central Europe.
Between and after these competitions ROOGA also played shows on FM4-stage at "Donauinselfest" or at the legendary Sziget festival in Budapest.
