Australian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist is a prolific songwriter with more than 1000 original songs to his name. He is a dynamic and engaging live performer having nailed spots on the showcase stage at the prestigious Blue Balls Festival in Switzerland and the Herzgruen Festival in Berlin in 2009. He has shared stages with Status Quo, James Morrison, Richard Clapton, Nick Barker, Red Kid, Niall Lawlor, Spot The Dog, Rust Red, James Blundell, Joe Camilleri and many others since turning pro in 2001.
He has released three independent albums (Breathe 2001, Stagefright 2002, Born Naked 2003): all 38 songs on these three albums received radio airplay in Australia on FM and AM networks and stations. Although courted by Universal Records in New York, Revenge Records in Sydney, and others, Fogarty has remained independent with an eclectic output of songs that arches across dozens of genres and sub-genres.
His influences are drawn in the main from roots, blues, pop, alt-country, folk, protest songs, worker songs, jazz, folk-rock, traditional country, bluegrass, swing, soul, Rhythm and Blues, funk, world music and others.
