he has released THE AVERAGE GENIUS EPs in december 2008. it is a collection of 14 songs written between 1998 and 2008 spanning from weird lofi pop to more „produced“ indie tunes.
there are hints of british and new zealand (flying nun bands like THE CHILLS and the TALL DWARFS) indie pop influences as well as a psychedelic touch in terms of THE VELVET UNDERGROUND and SYD BARRETT.
the album has so far been released on vinyl only. a CD version is scheduled on VOLLWERT RECORDS later this year.
GREAT DYNAMO is performing live with his band THE LIGHTS. the band recently supported acts like SPECTRUM and PHIl WILSON and will be playing shows with THE BATS in june.
