Three years ago, five friends plugged in their instruments and started to play.
Nothing was planned and everyone was allowed to play their own tunes in one big mix. The result was a rock `n` roll sound that embraces the genre all the way back to the 1960`s. So far, these friends have already successfully rocked various festivals and venues across the country.
In 2012 Go Go Berlin went on tour with the internationally-acclaimed band The Blue Van. This resulted in phone calls from almost every venue they played at, asking for them to come back and play. Since then Go Go Berlin have received a great deal of attention from the media. Gaffa (Denmark’s leading music magazine) rated their concert at SPOT festival with 5/6 stars with the words, "They`re young, talented, and they want to go places. Judging on their performance, they will - in the nearest future."
The debut album "New Gold" has been produced by Nick Foss, who`s been working on some of the greatest rock albums in Denmark, like Dizzy Mizz Lizzy and D:A:D, just to name a few. Go Go Berlin have already been booked for more than 80 gigs in 2013 - including SPOT festival, Roskilde Festival, Smukfest, and Jelling Festival - the biggest festival events in Denmark.
The band’s music echoes the sounds of The Doors, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, The Clash, The Strokes, Kings of Leon ... well you probably get the point.
