Melodische Hooks, die jeden zum Singen und ausgelassenen Tanzen animieren, Liveauftritte, die an hochklassige Bands erinnern und in der Tat eines großen Publikums würdig sind. FAILSAFE schlagen ein wie eine Bombe in der britischen Musikszene und machen jeden auf sich aufmerksam.

Der Nordwesten der UK hatte schon immer den guten Ruf die beste Musik zu produzieren und dies ist keine Ausnahme. James Norris (Gesang, Keyboard), Andy Sprake (Bass), Simon Humphries (Gitarre), Matt Cogley (Gitarre) und Rob Catlow (Schlagzeug) trotzten durch ihren kollektiven Sound und der Richtung der Band einem festen Genre und sprechen so viele an. Die Band hat die letzten Jahre kontinuierlich auf Tour verbracht, an Songs und Auftritten gefeilt und sich so eine sehr solide, treue und stets wachsende Fangemeinde aufgebaut. 2009 gingen sie auf eine extrem erfolgreiche UK und Europatour, wo sie bei ihren Headlining shows vor Publikumsgrößen um die 300 und mehr spielten und sofort für weitere Konzerte eingeladen wurden. Zuletzt teilten sich FAILSAFE die Bühne mit Bands wie Paramore, Set Your Goals, Cute is What We Aim For, A Wilhelm Scream, The Bouncing Souls, Gallows, Boy Sets Fire, The King Blues, Norma Jean und Anti-Flag.

2005 erschien bei dem Label Deck Cheese Records das Debütalbum “What we are today” und erhielt großartige Kritiken der Mainstream Rock Presse. Das Nachfolgealbum „The truth is…“ ( Smalltown Records) folgte dem Trend und die Singles „Hope“ & „A Common Goal“ liefen erfolgreich bei  Radiosendern wie Xfm, Radio 1, Kerrang und anderen nationalen Stationen. Beide Videos wurden außerdem bei E4 Music, Mtv2, Kerrang tv, Scuzz, NME tv ausgestrahlt und “Hope” war für über einen Monat in der Top 10 von Mtv2 Myspace. Außerdem eroberten sie 2009 die Bühnen von Veranstaltungen wie Sonisphere, Newquay Boardmasters, Guilfest und anderen großen UK Festivals.

Mit hohen Erwartungen und voller Spannung wartet die Musikindustrie und die Fans auf mehr.

Und nachdem sie schon zwei extrem erfolgreiche Maida Vale BBC live sessions und eine Xfm session im Januar 2009 gespielt haben, ist die Gruppe bereit und voller Einsatz der nächste große britische Act zu werden.

The northwest of the UK has always had a great reputation for producing the best music and this is no exception. With James Norris (vocals, keys), Andy Sprake (bass), Simon Humphries (guitar), Matt Cogley (guitar) and Rob Catlow (drums) the collective sound and direction of the band has always defied one genre and appealed to so many. The band have spent the last few years touring continuously; perfecting songs, their live act and building an extremely solid, devoted and ever-expanding national fan-base. 2009 has seen them embark on extremely successful UK and European tours pulling 300+ crowds on headlining shows and immediately being invited back. Recently FAILSAFE has shared stages with the likes of Paramore, Set Your Goals, Cute is What We Aim For, A Wilhelm Scream, The Bouncing Souls, Gallows, Boy Sets Fire, The King Blues, Norma Jean and Anti-Flag.

Snapped up by Deck Cheese Records, debut album ‘What We Are Today’ was released in late 2005 receiving great reviews from mainstream rock press. Sophomore album (on Smalltown Records) ‘The Truth Is…’ has followed this trend and singles ‘Hope’ and ‘A Common Goal’ have both been played on Xfm, Radio 1, Kerrang amongst other national stations and the both videos have aired on E4 Music, Mtv2, Kerrang tv, Scuzz, NME tv. ‘Hope’ was also in the Mtv2 Myspace Top 10 for over a month. 
There are high expectations and a lot of excitement from industry and fans alike for even more from this group. Also conquered this year were events such as Sonisphere, Newquay Boardmasters, Guilfest and other huge UK festivals.

Already with 2 hugely successful Maida Vale BBC live sessions and an Xfm session in Jan 09 this group are ready, fully capable and on the verge of being the UKs next huge act.
